“Acting classes that work, for actors who want to work” Sears & Switzer, founding members of TAAS, have trained actors since 1978. Theresa Sears and David Switzer have worked with some of the best, busiest and most interesting professional actors in Canada. We specialized in short-term, high-impact workshops in film, theatre, television, voice and audition technique.
The studio first opened in Toronto at 58 Stewart Street in 1978 and we moved to the YTV lot at 64 Jefferson Avenue in 1992. In 2002 we opened our theatre/studio space at 626 King Street West. That studio closed in 2015.
We now coach private one-on-one sessions at our home studio at 110 Hepbourne Street.
